Folder Lock

One of the most important things in modern computing for the majority of users is to make sure that all their data and personal information is safely stored. To make sure about this, it isn't a bad idea at all to use an application like Folder Lock to save all our personal files.

  Folder Lock allows to create one or more folders the will only be accessible by means of a password, the security of which the program will be capable of calibrating (red poor → green strong). The program allows the user to add all the files or folders of his choice to the protected folders, it will simply consist on searching for the files or folders to be protected and dragging them to the center of the programs interface. Once all the files are selected, all that will be left to do is click on “Encrypt Now” to protect the selected files.

  Once the files are protected, this will only be able to be opened if the user knows the passwords, but what's more, the program includes two additional options to protect the data, the first one allows to close the access to the secure folders after a certain amount of inactivity time, and the other that will automatically close the session or turn off the computer after five invalid attempts to input the password.
